Official information on Indonesian special economic zones is published by the Dewan Nasional KEK and related ministries. Always verify designations, incentives, and procedures at official sources (including kek.go.id and the OSS system) before acting.

Everything we publish is general editorial information for research purposes. It is not investment, legal, or tax advice, never recommends a specific transaction, and never promises approvals, incentives, or returns. Incentive eligibility is case-by-case and regulations change.
Editorial independence
Our analysis is made on the merits of regulations and verifiable evidence. No developer, operator, or service provider can pay to change a conclusion, a status label (“built” vs “planned”), or a figure we publish.
How we are funded
Reading this site is free. Risk statement
Investing in or relocating a business to a special economic zone involves substantial risk, including policy change, project-timeline slippage, and commercial underperformance. Targets and masterplans are not guarantees. Verify everything material with licensed Indonesian professionals.
Accuracy
Figures such as incentives, realized-investment numbers, and tenant status are date-sensitive; we flag estimates and unverified claims, and we date our trackers. Tell us about an error and we will correct it.
